What causes jet lag?
Jet lag is caused by a mismatch between your body's internal clock and the time zone you've traveled to. Your circadian rhythm remains synchronized to your departure timezone, causing sleep disruption, fatigue, and other symptoms.
Does this work for east and west travel?
Yes. Jetlag Coach generates different plans depending on the direction and magnitude of travel. Eastward travel generally requires advancing your body clock, while westward travel requires delaying it.
Do I need to take melatonin?
No. Melatonin is entirely optional in Jetlag Coach. The core plan is based on light exposure, sleep timing, and caffeine. Melatonin timing is only shown if you choose to enable it.
Can I use the app offline?
Yes. Once your plan is generated, it is stored on your device and can be accessed without an internet connection during your trip.
Do I need an account?
No account is required. Jetlag Coach works without sign-up. Your plans are stored locally on your device.
How many free trips do I get?
You get one free trip per device. After that, you can purchase individual trips for €12 or an annual plan for €20 with unlimited trips.
